Located outside of Lewisburg, West Virginia in the Richland Hills, you will find two family-owned-and-operated cattle farms working hard to supply fresh, local, premium quality meat in their community. In 2020, Mountain Steer Meat Company began offering grass-fed and grain-finished local beef in partnership with Cornerstone IGA. Local farmers, local beef, local grocers, all working together to provide their community with the best.

Mountain Steer beef arrives in stores and at local restaurants fresh, dry-aged, and within 11 days of harvesting. No preservatives, no shipping from across the country, no large packing plant, no corporate interests. Local from start to finish.

Buzzwords like 'cage-free' and 'organic' just don’t cut it for us. We vet our partners against the highest possible standards and regularly visit their farms to make sure the animals are raised outside, fed vegetarian feed, and given proper attention at every stage.
